Surfing at Cloud 9

Siargao is the surfing capital of the Philippines and Cloud 9 is one of the best surf spots. Between September and March, the best months to hit the waves, local and international surfers best each other in a yearly competition

Sugba Lagoon is well-known for its emerald waters surrounded by the equally beautiful Del Carmen Mangrove Reserve. Here, you can do a variety of aquatic activities like stand-up paddling or board diving.

Magpupungko Rock Pools

The Magpupungko rock pools are fascinating natural seawater tidal pools. They are best visited at low tide when they are exposed, and are an awesome spot for hours of exploring and cliff jumping. It’s called magpupungko (‘pungko’ in local Visayan dialect means to squat) because of a gigantic rock that appears to be squatting on another rock.
